These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Cosmic Brief, a web application operated by Soulful Existence, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The Cosmic Brief provides personalized astrological readings, natal chart calculations, planetary transit tracking, and related features. Content generated by the app is for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind — medical, legal, financial, psychological, or otherwise.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at gen@thecosmicbrief.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the app. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
The Cosmic Brief offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and no partial refunds are issued for unused time, except where required by applicable law.
Founding member access — where granted — is provided as a courtesy and may be modified if the program terms change. We will communicate any such changes directly.
All payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment details.
If you connect your Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, you authorize The Cosmic Brief to read your calendar events for the sole purpose of providing astrological context within the app. We request read-only access and do not modify, delete, or create calendar events on your behalf.
You may disconnect your calendar at any time from within the app settings, which will revoke our access immediately. Our use of Google Calendar data is also governed by the Google API Services User Data Policy.

The Cosmic Brief, including its design, branding, and content, is owned by Soulful Existence, LLC. Your personalized readings are generated for your personal use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit app-generated content without our express permission.
Your birth data and personal information remain yours. We do not claim ownership of the personal information you provide.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that astrological content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Astrological readings are generated using a combination of calculated planetary positions and AI-generated interpretation. They are intended for personal reflection and entertainment only.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soulful Existence, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to other users or the service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to paid features will end and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Georgia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly.
