Effective May 7, 2026 · Soulful Existence, LLC. By joining the program you agree to these terms in full. They are also incorporated by reference into your PromoteKit affiliate account.
The Cosmic Brief Affiliate Program allows approved content creators, publishers, and individuals ("Affiliates") to earn commission by referring new paying subscribers to The Cosmic Brief app at thecosmicbrief.app.
Participation in the program is by application only. Approval is at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to decline any application or revoke any affiliate's participation at any time for any reason.
Commission rate: 30% of each qualifying subscription payment made by referred subscribers.
Qualifying conversions: A conversion qualifies when a referred user clicks your unique affiliate link (or redeems your assigned coupon code), creates a new account, and completes a paid subscription purchase within the cookie window. Conversions are tracked via PromoteKit's two-way Stripe integration.
Cookie window: 60 days from the referred user's first click. Cookie-based tracking is used; we cannot guarantee attribution if a user's browser blocks or clears cookies before purchase.
Recurring commissions: The 30% commission is earned on every recurring subscription payment — monthly or annual — for the lifetime of that subscriber's active paid subscription.
Coupon codes: Where assigned, coupon code conversions are subject to the same commission terms. Coupon codes are for your use only — do not distribute them to other affiliates or deal sites.
Free tier sign-ups: Do not earn commission. Free trials that convert to paid earn commission on the first qualifying payment post-conversion.
Refunds and cancellations: If a referred subscriber receives a refund or chargeback, any commission paid or pending on that transaction will be reversed or withheld. PromoteKit's Stripe integration tracks this in real time.
Payout threshold: $25 minimum balance required before payout. Balances below this roll over to the following month.
Payment schedule: NET-15 — payouts are issued on or around the 15th of each month for the prior month's cleared commissions.
Holding period: 15 days after each subscriber payment before commission is considered cleared.
Payment methods: PayPal, via PromoteKit. You are responsible for maintaining accurate payout account information. No transaction fees are charged on payouts.
Taxes: You are solely responsible for taxes on commissions earned. We may request tax documentation before issuing payment where required by law.
Currency: All commissions are paid in U.S. dollars.
Upon joining, you will receive a unique affiliate link and, if applicable, an auto-generated coupon code via your PromoteKit portal. Tracking is cookie-based via a JavaScript snippet on our site. We are not responsible for untracked conversions resulting from cookie blocking, private browsing, or cross-device purchases. You may not modify, cloak, or redirect your affiliate link in ways that interfere with tracking. Cookie-stuffing, forced clicks, or any method of generating fraudulent conversions is prohibited and will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of all pending commissions. PromoteKit's self-referral fraud detection is active on all accounts.
You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship in all promotional content containing your affiliate link. Acceptable disclosures include "#ad," "#affiliate," or a written statement such as "This post contains an affiliate link — I earn a commission if you subscribe." Disclosures must appear prominently — not buried in captions or footnotes. You are solely responsible for compliance with the FTC and applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use our approved brand assets solely for promoting The Cosmic Brief under this program. You may not alter our brand assets or use them to imply a relationship beyond the affiliate program. This license terminates immediately upon termination of your affiliate participation.
You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship. You are solely responsible for costs associated with your promotional activities.
We may modify these terms, commission rates, cookie windows, or any other aspect of the program at any time with at least 14 days advance notice by email or updated posting. Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Commission rates in effect at the time of a qualifying conversion apply to that conversion.
By you: Email gen@thecosmicbrief.app at any time. Your link will be deactivated and no further commissions will accrue.
By us: We may terminate immediately for breach of these terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to our brand or users.
Effect: Cleared commissions above the $25 threshold will be paid on the next scheduled date. Uncleared or fraudulent commissions are forfeited. Brand asset license terminates immediately.
The program is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding tracking accuracy, program continuity, or income potential. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed commissions paid in the three months preceding any claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Soulful Existence, LLC from any claims arising from your promotional activities, breach of these terms, or violation of applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Georgia. Before initiating any legal proceeding, contact us at gen@thecosmicbrief.app to resolve informally.
These terms, together with The Cosmic Brief's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Soulful Existence, LLC regarding the affiliate program. A standalone version of these terms is also available at /affiliate-terms.html.
